Danielle Miller

Public Affairs Director, Editor, and Host

Danielle is a senior at Rowan University, working towards her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Women & Gender Studies. She is a member of Rowan Radio and hosts A Community Affair that airs every Monday at 5 pm ET on 89.7 WGLS-FM. She also interns with Townsquare Media in Northfield!

Alyssa Compa


Alyssa is entering her senior year at Rowan University as a Journalism major. She has been a part of Rowan Radio for over a year.  In the fall of 2015 Alyssa co-produced “Guns: Calibrate Your Thinking”, a 30-minute radio documentary that takes a look at gun control in America. The documentary earned a Platinum Hermes Creative Award in the Radio Program category, an award of Distinction in Production at the 22nd annual Communicator Awards, and 3rd place at the Broadcast Education Association Festival of Media Arts Competition. Alyssa herself has earned two scholarships for her academic achievements since enrolling as a student at Rowan. She hosts the three-hour country music show every Saturday starting at 7 am called the Country Road. Producing is Alyssa’s passion and she plans to one day be a producer at a major radio or television network.

Jason Lutz


Jason is a senior at Rowan University majoring in Radio/TV/Film. Currently, he hosts a daytime show every Friday from 11am-1pm on Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM. His interests include fashion, music, fitness or health trends and any local or national news that he feels would interest our readers.

Nick Lang


Nick has been a member of Rowan Radio since the Fall of 2014. He transferred to Rowan from Camden County College as a Communication Studies Major and right after his first semester, he changed his major to Radio/Television/Film. Nick enjoys writing blogs about concerts and movies because he loves entertainment and writing stories about why he was entertained and then share his experience hoping that anyone who reads my blogs will go out and try something similar for themselves!



Leo Garcia


Leo has  been a member of Rowan Radio since Fall of 2016. He transferred  from Atlantic Cape Community College as a Communications Major and joined the Radio/TV/Film program here at Rowan. He enjoys writing blogs about movies currently in theaters and television shows currently on TV or Netflix. He hopes that people who read his blog will appreciate his opinion and what he has to say and if they haven’t seen the movie or show for themselves, then hopefully his blog posts will encourage them to check it out!
